PaschimottanasanaPaschimottanasana (Forward Bend Stretching the Back)

This is a forward seated bend asana and is performed by placing head on knees and reaching to toes. For its best beneficiary effect, it should be repeated three times.

This asana is known to stimulate the functions of the pancreas, kidney and liver. Hence, practicing this Yogasana considered beneficial for diabetics.



Shalabhasana:  (The Locust Pose)Shalabhasana

This asana make stronger the neck, back and waist; Shalabhasana is also extremely beneficial in the treatment of diabetes. Regular practice of this posture helps to control the BMI and facilitate glycemic control in type2 diabetic patients. This Yogasana also helps to cure acidity, nervous tension and indigestion.



DhanurasanaDhanurasana (The Bow )

Practicing Dhanurasana is beneficial for diabetes as it improves the functioning of pancreas and intestines. And thus helps in controlling blood sugar level.

It gives the benefits of both Bhujangasan and Salabasana as it is the combination of both this asanas. Organs like Liver, Pancreas, and Enzyme producing organs will function actively by practicing this asana.


Halasana (Plough Pose)Halasana

It stimulates the Pancreas, Spleen and activates immune system by massaging all the internal organs including pancreas. It improves kidney and liver functioning and strengthens the abdominal muscles. It also rejuvenates the mind.

Ardha-MatsyendrasanaArdha Matsyendrasana  (Half Twist Pose)

This asana massages the Kidneys, Pancreas, Small Intestines, Stomach, Gall Bladder and Liver, helping to stimulate digestion and squeeze out toxins.  Useful for diabetics, with concentration on the pancreas.  Increases the elasticity of the spine, tones the spinal nerves





Yogamudrasana (Sealing pose) and Mandukasana (Frog Pose) Yoga-Mudrasana

These yoga asana put pressure on the internal organs, particularly on the stomach and the pancreas and thereby stimulate their activity.

Yogamudrasana is performed by sitting in Padmasana





Madukasana is practiced by sitting in Vajrasana.

To treat diabetics and other diabetic related problems, Madukasana along with Yogamudrasana are more than enough.
